E2BN Cake Competition

Celebrate: e2bn@ten – Happy Birthday E2BN!

It is E2BN’s 10th Birthday this year and, as part of the celebrations, your students are invited to design an E2BN 10th birthday cake (to be eaten at the E2BN Conference Dinner on 23rd June).

The competition is open to students in the E2BN region in full time education and under the age of 17. Entries will be judged in the following three categories:
  • Early Years, KS1
  • KS2
  • KS3, KS4
Each age-category winner’s school will receive £75 of vouchers with which to purchase cookery equipment. In addition, the overall winning cake design will be created by The Robinson Centre’s chef, Fergus Martin.

How will the designs be judged?

Early years and KS1 – the judges will be looking for a nice birthday cake design that reflects E2BN’s corporate colours (orange and black).

KS2 – the challenge here will be to incorporate E2BN’s logo, colour scheme and some aspect of educational ICT (have a look at the online content for inspiration www.e2bn.org/learning).

KS3 and KS4 – here the entrants should be aiming to incorporate all of the above plus some reference to other aspects of E2BN’s work such as E-Safety, collaborative working or the network.
