Brendan taught in middle schools for 16 years before becoming Content Manager with Suffolk LA. He became manager of the LEA’s curriculum website, helping schools to develop their own online resources and producing digital video content. He also teaches degree module courses in animation, web design and digital storytelling for Suffolk Anglia Ruskin University. He is also a tutor on the Suffolk and Norfolk Initial Teacher Training PGCE programme.

In January 2005 Brendan founded Suffolk Education Consultants and now works with school and LAs, not only in the East of England, but across the whole country. At the present time Brendan also provides consultancy and training to E2BN. He is been involved in many of their best-known projects including Cookit, War Witness, Discovery Box, the E2BN Gallery and the BETT Award nominated, Myths & Legends.
